Performance Overview

Be the first to experience the brand-new Jazz for Kids production, premiering the lively children’s musical The Kid Who Found the Groove. Presented by the Jazz Association (Singapore) and ACT 3 Theatrics, this interactive jazz adventure is created especially for families ready to swing, clap, and groove together.

The musical follows JUN, a curious young explorer, on a heartwarming journey to discover his very own groove. Along the way, he is joined by a colourful band of musical friends – SAXU the Saxophone, PIA ANU the Piano, KITA the Electric Guitar, BASU the Bass, and DRUMI the Drums. Each brings their own personality, rhythm, and sparkle to the adventure. Through catchy tunes, playful storytelling, and interactive moments, children will learn how jazz comes alive through improvisation, creativity, and teamwork.

Bursting with vibrant costumes, toe-tapping music, and hands-on participation, this joyful production invites young audiences of all ages to sing, move, and experience the magic of jazz in a fun and accessible way!
